Once logged in, you will be directed to the Forms/Surveys page which is the home page for the Form.com/Key Survey data collection platfrom.

The Forms/Surveys home page contains the following panes:

  1.  Main Navigation Menu.

    The Main Navigation Menu is located at the very top of your account and allows you to navigate to the following account sections:

    • Surveys/Forms is a home page of your account. It allows you to track the response rate and manage your Forms & Surveys.
    • Reports - click this button to access the Reports page.
    • Contacts - click this button to access the Contact Managers page.
    • Portal - click this button to access the User Portal page.
    • Data Models - click this button to access the Data Models page.
    • Tasks - click this button to access the Tasks page.
    • Administration - click this button to access the Administration page.
    • Dashboard - click this button to access the Dashboard page.
      • Community - click this button to access the Community page.
      • Feedback - click this button to access the Feedback page.
      • My Account - click this button to access the My Account page.
      • Logout - click this button to Logout of your account.
      • Live Support - click this button to begin a chat with one of our Support representatives.
      • Help - click this button at any required time to access the corresponding topic of the functionality in our Help Center.
  2.  Folders.

    The Folders Pane is a tree that is located in the left pane. You can create custom folders for different surveys to keep them structured and ordered in the way you need. By default it contains two folders: Main and Trash.

    The Main Folder Menu has the following options:

    • New Folder allows you to create a new folder in the selected folder.
    • Rename allows you to rename a selected folder.
    • Move To allows you to move a folder with its reports to a selected one.
    • Delete allows you to delete a selected folder.

    The Trash folder is a temporary storage for deleted Forms/Surveys. It includes the following options:

    • Restore allows you to restore a selected survey.
    • Delete permanently deletes selected survey from your account.

     

    • Form/Surveys are sorted automatically in ascending order according to the date of creation (newly created forms will be on the very top of the tree).
    • Folder name is hyperlinked and shows the list of Form/Surveys in the center pane if clicked.
    • Number of Form/Surveys that the folder includes is displayed in brackets next to the folder name.
    • Clicking + next to the folder name rolls over the list of nested folders.
    • You cannot rename, move or delete default folders (Main and Trash).
    • You cannot move custom folders if they include nested folders.
  3.  Forms/Surveys List.

    The Survey List is a list of Forms & Surveys located in the center pane.

    The Forms/Surveys list is a list of previously created Forms/Surveys. It includes the following options:

    • New opens the New Survey dialog box that allows you to create new Form/Survey using different options. For more details consult the New Survey help page.
    • Copy opens the Copy Form dialog and copies selected form with reports and/or results if selected.

      The Copy form pop-up provides the following options:

      • Include reports - will include the reports associated with the Form/Survey when activated.
      • Include responses - will include the collected responses associated with the Form/Survey when activated.
      • Destination folder - by clicking on the button with the name of the current location of the Form/Survey, you will be given an option of selecting the location where the Form/Survey will be stored.

    • Move opens a pop-up that provides a possibility of choosing where you would like to move the selected Form/Survey.
    • Delete moves the Form/Survey to the Trash folder.
    • Category allows you to categorize your Forms/Surveys by associating them with a color.

      Click the Categorize button and select the color you want to apply to the selected Forms/Surveys.

      Click the Clear All Categories option to remove all categories from the selected Forms/Surveys.

    The dropdown box, located at top of the Surveys List pane allows sorting surveys in the following ways: Active On Top, Date Created Descending, Date Created Ascending, Descending by Name, Ascending by Name, End Date Descending, End Date Ascending.

     

    • The Form/Survey list can be sorted by the name, date of creationend date or status.
    • Inactive Surveys are marked with the grey, almost transparent names. This means that they are closed - either the end date or the limit of responses have been reached.
    • Click on the survey to select it. Hold the Ctr and Shift (for PC) or Command (for MAC) keyboard buttons to perform a multiple selection.
  4.  Form/Survey Information Panel.

    Survey Information pane shows information per selected survey. 

    • Edit - click this button to edit selected survey.
    • Launch  redirects you to the survey Launch page.
    • Report - click this button to view the report for the selected survey.
    • Print  prints the selected survey to the PDF.
    • Thumbnail Icon -displays the small survey preview. Click the magnifier icon in the bottom right corner of the thumbnail for the full screen survey preview.
    • Theme - this survey detail shows the name of the survey layout theme if any. For more details consult the Survey Layout help chapter.
    • Offline parameter indicates if the survey is available for WorldAPP Mobile.
    • Completed  shows you the number of completed responses, i.e. the amount of those users who clicked the Submit button.
    • In Progress  shows you the number of respondents who opened your Form/Survey and fill out at least one page. If your form contains only one page, respondents who never clicked the Submit button will never be registered.
    • Not Started - this line show the number of respondents who were invited to participate in the survey via the Email Survey Distribution or respondents of the Password Protected survey.
    • Response Rate  is a value of the total number of the completed surveys multiplied by 100 and divided by total number of completed and incomplete surveys.
    • Click Through is a value that displays how many times a survey link has been opened. You can reset this value by clicking the Reset link.
    • Schedule Reminder - this option appears if your survey has been launched via the Email Survey Distribution and there is at least one incomplete response. For more details consult the Email Reminder chapter.
    • Manage Reminders - This option appears if you have already sent reminders for selected survey or form before. Consult the Manage Reminders section for more details.
    • Start Date - select the date for the survey to be opened for respondents. The default date is the date of survey creation.
    • End Date - select the date for the survey to be automatically closed for respondents. The default close date is a month after the date of survey creation.
    • Notes - shows you the notes of the survey if any. To add notes click the Add link or navigate to the survey Name page.
    • Display Title - shows you the survey title if any. To add survey title go to the survey Name page.
  5.  Search Option.

    Use this option to find surveys you need. Type the survey name, title or introduction and click the button to start searching.

     

    The Search option gives you an ability to:

    - Search for the particular survey.

    - Advanced search within a single survey.

    - Find and Replace within a single survey.

    To search for the particular survey go to the Surveys home page and input text to search for in the Search field: you can search surveys by the survey name, survey title, survey description or survey unique ID.

     To search for the text within a single Form/Survey:

    Select the survey from the Forms/Surveys home page.

    Click the Edit button from the Form/Survey Information pane in the right part of the screen.

    Input search text in the Search text field.

    Click the Go button.

    Text that matches your search criteria will be highlighted.

     Advanced Search looks for an input text within the single Form/Survey:

    Select the survey from the Forms/Surveys home page.

    Click the Edit button from the Form/Survey Information pane in the right part of the screen.

    Click the down arrow next to the Go button and select the Advanced Search option.

    Input text to find.

    Click the Find Next button to start searching.

    Text that matches your search criteria will be highlighted.

     Find and Replace tool looks for an input text within the single survey and replaces it with the different text:

    Select the survey from the Forms/Surveys home page.

    Click the Edit button from the Form/Survey Information pane in the right part of the screen.

    Click the down arrow next to the Go button and select the Replace option.

    Input text to find and text to replace.

    Click the Replace button to replace first found match or Replace All to replace all matches in the survey.

     The Go to tool allows you to navigate to the question you need just in a second:

    Select the survey from the Forms/Surveys home page.

    Click the Edit button from the Form/Survey Information pane in the right part of the screen.

    Click the down arrow next to the Go button and select the Go to option.

    Input text to find and click the Go to button.
